I havent been back here for a while, and the update: SO I chose the Monster tower, and installed it over a month ago.

Install was easy as heck, as Sea Ray already has beefed up specific areas to mound towers.

I purchased the MT2 tower with 2 racks. The oem bimini simply will not fit, so I sold it on ebay and bought the monster tower bimini and just installed it last week.

Tower is perfect...solid, strong, silent and easy to use. We have used it constantly and it makes not a movement nor a peep.

I highly recommend this unit.

Some pics...of the boat with tower, the wake of the boat with me on my first day out in over 15 years (did awesome...new pics to come), and the only shot I have of the bimini from this weekend's 5 boat raft up.

It folds down in a couple of minutes, the cost was $1600 delivered with 2 wakeboard racks.

It was a 2 man install, but let me tell you this...I did all of the drilling myself to start off. I mounted all of the "feet" myself, then one of my buddies came by to help hold stuff, then 3 more buddies came by because they heard I was giving away free beer, but they decided watching was more fun.

All in all, I spent about 45 minutes myself drilling and mounting, then about another hour or so doing everything else. This is including hanging and having a beer and smoking a cigarette in between stuff.

Was super easy. Below is a pic of the bimini, since installed. That took 15 minutes, if that.

That is super cool, I love it!

Can you post a pic of it folded down so I can envision it. I really want a wakeboard tower on my boat but never did because I am limited by the height of my garage door.

Do you think I could put one on this boat?

Re: Monster Waketower installed with pics

I dont have a pic of it folded down, but if that is your concern, it WILL fit in your garage if he boat fits now.

The MAIN reason we did not go with OEM sea ray tower was because of the way it folds: without the tower on my boat, I LITERALLY have about 1/2" from top of windshield to the garage door top to squeeze the boat in. The SR oem folds above the windshield, and would not fit, so I was forced to go after market.

The Monster folds down flat.

As far as working on your boat, to be honest I cant say yes or no, but Monster is AWESOME to deal with. If you go to their site and get the number to call them, they will tell you. As well, there is a whole gallery of photos...look through and see if your boat is there already with pics!
