I have a MW 10hp model # VWB 52110A, serial # 67x20271. Not sure if its a 10hp, but thats what the plate has on it beside the model and serial #. Trying to find out who made this and what year it is. I need a lower gear housing with any gaskets and seals.

Howdy Mrducks
Your Sea King motor is a 1975 10hp. These motors were made by Chrysler for Montgomery Ward to sell under the Sea King brand. I don't have a parts catolog for this exact model. So I don't know what other L/Us will fit it.

thanks alcan, would the sea king name be stamped anywhere on the engine or on the MW name plate inside. What would be a good source for the parts i need?

Hi Ducks
On your model I don't know about the labeling. I have never seen one and I don't have a picture. How ever most of the models of this era have decals saying "Sea king by chrysler" and the hp. As far as parts go I would look to Chrysler/force dealers, now maybe Merc dealers. I am sure that most tune-up parts are available. My GUESS would be that a lower unit off another model will fit.

Try this link:
http://www.fairwindsmarina.com/

They are the only people that I know of that have a full line of parts for the Chrysler in the US. I have been looking all over for new parts for a year and they where the only one to have them.
