I recently purchased a 12' Sea King Jon boat (originally sold by Montgomery Ward)at an auction and the capacity information plate is impossible to read. Does anyone know the capacities as far as weight, horsepower rating and all of the other pertinent information that comes on the plate? Does anyone know where to find this info?

Guess about 350 lbs with a 5 HP , don't venture out of sight of land, Good Luck

Does it have a v style hull? If it does I have the same boat and the hp rating is 7.5, not sure on weight. I beefed up the transom on mine and covered up the plate, but do remember seeing 7.5hp on the plate because that is what I have on it. I wouldn't put more than two adults in the boat.
