Hello!
I have a 2157 Carver Montego it's 3900lbs dry so its a big 21footer. What is my best anchor choice for one that would hold over night? Right now I have a danforth with 4ft heavy chain and 150ft of rope. Maximum anchor depth I would say to be 25-30 feet most of it being 15ft or less. Inland lake with sand, trees, and in some areas smooth river rock on the bottom. there is no waves and only current in one direction when TVA opens the dam up. Suggestions?

10-12' of chain, 1/4 or 5/16ths, 300' + of rode, a #8 or 10 danforth and or a #13 claw style anchor.

Your rode is questionable (7x depth) and you definitely need at least twice the chain (1/2 your length)

+1 on more chain. The recommendation is to match the boat length in chain (approx 20'). It's job is to keep the anchor shank securely positioned on the river bottom.
