More hp

I currently own a 4.5hp Evinrude. Model No. E5RCSS<br />Serial No. 358274. The operating range for the motor is 4500 to 5500 RPM although it only runs at a maximum of 5000 RPM to produce 4.5hp. What I want to know is how to get it up to 5500 RPM to get more hp. I would also like to know what year my motor is.

try posting on the ENGINE board SCOTTY you will get better responds
