I have a bow mount 12 volt Minn Kota AutoPilot that is great, however, the last couple of times on the water it will not turn right or left either on AP or with the foot controller. I have taken the foot controller apart and clean throughly. I have taken the turning gear box completely apart, clean and regreased. When it is out of the water it turns fine. The motor and battery are booth about 5 years old. I was wondering if any of you have had the same problems and what you have done to resolve it. I have contacted Minn Kota via Email and they said I should try a new battery.
