I agree with your statement. I do not think this "New" oil has been out long enough for anyone to find it let alone use it for any length of time. Personally I see no need for it, but Im sure there will be people using it as there are with the oils for high mileage cars and trucks. As for you running 100% synthetic, you should notice slightly increased performance, a little quieter running, (it should just sound better) cleaner engine, no spark plug fouling, and very little smoke. Would be really surprised if you ever go back to regular oil.

<br /><br />lubedude- i "think" i have noticed less smoke and a little quieter, but i need some more time to judge. i have also recently noticed my rpms seem to stay a bit higher at idle. there is no way the oil can cause this, is there? i'm assuming something changed in the engine, or i just need some standard adjustments.
This is common when using synthetic, it actually lubricates so much better that it causes an increase in the idle. You should be noticing a little better top end RPMs also, maybe 1-200.
