is it possible to bore out my cyl on my 60 johnson 3 cyl and get more power or is ther other little tricks i can do

sell it and get what you want. getting the motor and boat set up properly will give you more per $, than screwing up a good motor.

Best little trick I know of is to get a bigger motor.

If your motor is well used, tired or otherwise not new, then boring it out may get you more power than you have now - likely somewhere in the neighborhood of 60hp.

As noted above, unless you are running a truly high performance application, have deep pockets and lots of time, you are far better off getting a motor of the power you want rather than trying to convert what you have...
