I have a single lever morse controls and when removing it from the last boat the switch located on the inside (for shifting I believe) busted apart. Does anyone know where I could find another one?

you don`t say whats its on but in most cases its the "neutral safety switch"
will not allow you to start in gear.

Re: Morse Controls Problem

OK heres the owdown. The controls came off of a Glass-Ply that had a Volvo 4 cyl. I will be putting it into my Starcraft with my mercruiser. It was a small red switch, looked familiar as I have seen these switches elsewhere....though I cannot remember where.

I would hope that they have a replacement part switch or at least there would be an electronics store that might carry the same type of switch.

Thanks for the help.

Yes exactly. The switch is located on the backside of the controls.

Ok, I have found a Nuetral Safety Switch here in the Iboats marine store, could someone tell me if it is a general replacement component for all Morse controls?
