Morse steering cable difference

I have a Morse D304415-168 I know the 168 is the length
I found the samething on eBay except the first letter is an E.
Does anyone know what the difference is?

I don't know but you may try the Morse site, it might take some poking but I bet you can figure it out there.

I know they changed the end that goes into the helm at one point so that may be it but as I said I don't know for sure.
