most reliable fourstroke???

In about a year I will be in the market for a 19-22' fishing boat (bayrunner, parker, hydra
sport, etc.) I now own a 18' runnabout w/ a force '95' force 120 I have never had so much trouble with a motor in my life. With the money i've invested to fix it all the time I could have a nice down payment on a new boat....Anyways If you guys could give some personal favorites for ob's in the 85-150 hp range I would appriciate the input.
thanks, and may you always make it back under your own power..

I think they're all Ok. You have the luxury of being on the West coast where service for the Japanese branded engines is readily available-especially Suzuki. More important than the brand is the dealer.

SUZUKI'S ARE THE LIGHTEST FOUR STROKES ON THE MARKET THEY ARE ALSO THE ONLY ONES TO HAVE FUEL INJECTION ON ALL OF THEIR MODELS FROM 40H.P. AND UP WHICH MAKES FOR EASIER STARTING AND LESS MAINTENANCE YOU WILL ALSO HAVE THE ADDED BENEFIT OF THEM BEING SOLD THRU OMC/BOMB UNDER THE JOHNSON NAME SO OUNCE IT IS OUT OF WARRANTY YOU WILL BE ABLE TO GET PARTS AND SERVICE AT ANY OMC/BOMB DEALERS OR SUZUKI DEALERS BETWEEN THE TWO DEALER NETWORKS HANDLING THEM PARTS AND SERVICE SHOULD NEVER BE MORE THAN A FEW MILES AWAY

The Merc/Honda 4 strokes are reliable and I believe that they are up to 130hp. Merc is also readily available and serviceable in most areas.
