Still throws me off. What constitutes a 5 ton truck? Mini dump truck? Pretty rare to see one of those with a 10 speed road ranger. Usually have a 4 speed with synchro in the top three. What do you mean by "square cut gears"?
I've driven a number of different engine/transmission combos but the most entertaining was a '63 Diamond T single axle semi with 4-71 Detroit with a straight pipe stack and a 5 speed tranny with air 2 speed axle. Folks could literally hear me coming 3 miles away.
