It seems that I am the only one to ever have this problem, but here goes. I have an older model Motorguide 3, foot control, white in color, Motoguide trolling motor with a busted prop. It takes a 3" prop, (or maybe 3 1/4) but every one that I locate is not nearly deep enough and leaves a huge gap between the motor and the prop. This would probably be okay in a clear unweeded lake, but Guntersville is far from that type of lake. The only prop that I can find, and I have searched all avenues of the internet is the Motorguide prop #MGA0476B and this prop is not deep enough and leaves that big gap. Can anyone give me a solution to this problem that I can check out. I know that there has been one made, at one time, because I have an old one that is busted.

Perhaps you can create a spacer to fill the gap.Maybe even out of hard styrofoam.
Just secure it to the motor with something like 3M5200 or goop etc etrc.

I thought of that. I sure would like to identify where the broken prop came from. I was wondering if it might be a Minnkota prop. I cannot find anything even close to the old prop. Thanks for your suggestion though.
