The shop likely used their own gas tank to run your motor.
The case of oil should be good.
The old gas/sludge in the tank will mess up your carbs bad.
The old gas in the tank should be drained and disposed of, or used in a lawn mower.
Run a can or 2 or Seafoam through the engine ( in the new gas).
Decarb the motor with Seafoam Deep Creep.
When your case of oil is gone, switch to a synthetic, like Pennzoil, $20 a gallon.
For the tilt unit, did you check the fluid level?
Also, it might get a little better after you run the motor up and down a few times.
Otherwise, you will likely have to replace the orings in the cylinders.
There is a guy on ebay selling the rings as a kit, along with instructions.
His seller name is netsvc , email him, he has the parts.
