I have a 9.9 Merc and am not sure what size boat to get. Can someone tell me the recommended way to measure boat hp vs boat length? Thanks

Welcome to the iboats forum!!
A 9.9 will match nicely with a 12 foot or a small 14 foot aluminum boat. I say a small 14 because there are some wide heavy ones that you will find the 9.9 is not up to pushing.

Agree. We just upgraded our 14ft aluminum from a 4 to a 9.9. They seem to be a perfect match.

14' jon boat would be good, and maximize both space, and stability in a small boat.
