I have a Motor guide tm that is not working part of the time. I think it is the switch on the foot petal. If you think that is what it is are they hard to replace?

Also I have a hummingbird 200 depth finder that has not shown a fish in two years. It is fine for showing depth and structure but will not show any fish. I have the aftermarket puck transducer mounted on the the trolling motor. The temp probe also quit. Any ideas?

thanks
longshot

Hummingbird 200 - I believe that is my model too.

Sounds like the transducer is working since you have depth...aftermarkter transducer...did that ever show fish? Any chance there is someone nearby that has the same model Hummingbird that you could borrow their transducer?

1. What is the sensitivity set to? Maybe it is set too low and it is not picking up the fish?

2. Are you sure that there are any fish?

-JustMrWill

The switch on your tm is easy to replace. Just make a good schematic of the wiring before you start taking it apart.

Had to replace the speed control switch on my TM.
Hardest part was getting the pedal reassembled.
Bought the swith from TrollingMotorParts.com at a very reasonable price.
