Restriction up stream either clogged screen (some are inside pick up tube), leak in connections so you are sucking in air, anti siphon valve is clogged, collapsed fuel line, maybe a clogged fuel tank vent line but would think that would not happen while idlingAfter I run for awhile and slow to no wake speed my motor will die and I have to remove the fuel filter and fill with gas before it will start. Anyone have an idea why. The filter will be down a couple of inches.

There is no return line from the carb. Thanks
Will look at all this. I have wondered about the return line from the carb to the filter may have a tiny hole. Plan on checking this all out before going out in sept
There is a return line from a box down on the side of the engine back to the filter. What is this and could there be a air leak there. Haven't been able to take t[he cover off of this yet.Restriction up stream either clogged screen (some are inside pick up tube), leak in connections so you are sucking in air, anti siphon valve is clogged, collapsed fuel line, maybe a clogged fuel tank vent line but would think that would not happen while idling
