been trying to get my boat to run right without bad tight hand torque i was told here to lower motor to cavation plate was even or just above bottom of boat that is where it was at have moved trim tab every way no change, was having problems with low rpm, and trim problems, boat would run 38 to 42 and 4600 rpm gave up an took to the prop shop and was told that would never work told me to forget about where the cavation plate sit and raise the motor up to get the prop shaft 4 to 5 inches below bottom of boat and you will think its a different boat, and was he right, went from 40 mph average4600 rpm to 50 mph average 5500 rpm just goes to show every boat is different. ps torque is gone.
