I just bought a flatbottom boat with a US Marine "sailor" motor on it. I have the model # 43F50 and ser.# 1250, but I can not find any information about this motor. I would like to know who makes this motor for future part reference. Also would like to know the proper fuel mixture. If anyone know anything or any place that I can get information on this motor, I would apperciate it.

You have a Force brand motor by U.S. Marine. It is a 4hp and runs a mix of 50:1.I do not have your model#s listed. the closest I have is 43F5A, this would be a 1985 model. If you post you question on the Chrysler/Force board. Someone there may give you links to online model/year lists. My book tops out at 1987. Mercury Marine bought out U.S. Marine/Force, So your Merc dealer can supply parts.

Thanks for the info. There was a typo in the model #, but you nail it with 43F5A.
