motor is acting crazy please help me

HEy this is a crazy question i dont know if anyone has ever heard of this problem or not i hope someone can help me cause i have done everything i know. I have a 1989 mercury 115,, i have cleaned the carbs and changed the spark plugs i dont know much about boat motors but i have done all the easy stuff lol but what happens is my boat is hard to start first off it takes forever then when i get it started it runs ruff and then it wont take much gas and it wont rev up high when i put it in gear it takes forever to get it going without it dieing and then i cant give it much gas or it will die and spit and sputter but i can trim the motor out of the water and put it in gear and it will spin the prop with all it has got but when i trim it back down in to the water and try to put it in gear and go it dies and will bearly go when i do get it going.. i bet i cant even get over 1mph i dont know what else to do i hope someone can help

P.S. i have ran sea foam and octane booster in it and i have even changed the gas thinking it was bad gas

did u completely emtpy your tank before puttin new gas in. i had water in my fuel tank and the water was on bottom, more i primed and tryed to crank more water went in. just a thought! finly i had to dump it all out clean all fuel components ang now it run fine.

do you think i could put gas stabilizer in it and make it work

not a bad idea, or carb cleaner for vehicles, byt make sure it says on bottle for 2stroke engines. or marine

hey every one i think i found out what was wrong i started it up and started unplugging spark plug wires and i found that 1-3-and-5 was not firing it would not make any difference when i unplugged those but when i unplugged 2-4-and-6 it would bog down i hope that was what was wrong i ordered 3 coils so i will write back when the coils come in tuesday and let everyone know what happens
