motor mount

1983 175 johnson ive currently rebuilt my midsection
for fresh power head . changed bushing retainer and seals i also changed exhaust houseing [mid ] went to put it back on and the mid that i used
`has bolt stripped in lower mount assembly.so i need to change motor mount
the problem is i have my old mid with good mounts but i cant pry the motor mount out of either mid . what do i have to do to get these mounts out .

Hey Benny,
Try raping on it with a hammer while you are prying under it.
Try a feather wedge between it and the housing maybe ?
A little propane heat on the housing ?

just some thoughts.
