Then when letting it sit and idle is stalls. Ive replaced just about everything and looked everything over. Should i be looking at fuel pump again. The pulse line from the fuel pump to block is this one way valve i should check? Run's fine some day's then other's it stalls at dock arggg. How about idle tube in carb just what is it's purpose. Yesterday at lake a new thing happened i was playing with idle set around 1000, 750 in gear,1 turn out with screw. I started the motor and hit it went fine then lost all power no fuel this is a new one. I want to figure this one out and plan on selling my boat loosing the love.
Im going to try and order new fuel pump diaphram kit, does sierra offer all parts needed $8.95? There is a large rubber gasket is this just extra part for different motor? Here is picture one top center? Also i want to order new carb kit from where? UPDATE just played around this fuel pump. Put my mightyvac on pulse side pumped it to -70 mark it droped pretty fast. Tightened everything more put some rtv on back side. Now it's dropping slower much slower humm. If the pump is sealed and all mating surfaces should it drop at all? Maybe this is good way to test fuel pumps. Going to test run motor, maybe mightyvac pump check should be put in sticky for everyone.
