have you checked all ignition components to make sure nothing got wet, this would cause the misfire and dying and would also make it very difficult to restart

no i havent cecked that but why would it just turn off when i was in idle

The spark plugs are getting wet after it fires up for the first time and after everything drys up i can start it up easy.
