I ran across something interesting on ebay tonight. It is plans to build a small gas powered trolling motor. The photos on the auction are not very clear but it looks like a weedeater crossed with a small hand held electric trolling motor. I didn't read the entire ad because I'm not interested in it but I thought some of you may have some interest or at least would have something to say about it.

It looks like the guy is trying one of those get-rich-quick schemes to sell plans to something he built in his garage. If you're interested, go to ebay and search for 150212118888 in the search window.

Weedeater trolling motor - old idea. No one is getting rich off that one. I've seen better setups too. An electric troller is about the same price and easier on the ears.

No surprise.....the auction ended with no bids. Looks like its back to the drawing board for that guy... Maybe he'll come up with a jet motor made out of a leaf blower.

Just caught this.It has been done many times and very very sucssessfully.

Pics and diagrams are there also.Also a simple way to make the engine alot quieter.It gets good near the end.

that ebay offering has been on ebay for years, apparently, he is selling enough plans, to pay for the ebay fee. i would never buy it.
