what does, Ayuh mean?
Ayuh,......

Google is your Friend,.....;)

Your easiest way out of your motor matching at this point is to find a Complete manifold, carb, etc....

ebay or craigslist come to mind,..... Search for Feshwater Parts....

Mr Bondo,
Out of curiosity I googled "ayuh" and now I'm confused myself!!

Here's what the first google entry says:

The word "ayuh" -- though it may seem at first to have a positive connotation --
may in fact be used both positively and negatively. It has extremely subtle
undertones which, if you?re not native, you can never hope to master. Only a
native New Englander can discern exactly how the speaker intends it by the
subtleties of intonation.

SO NOW WE NEED TO KNOW THE SUBTELTIES OF YOUR INTONATION!! ;)

"Only a native Maineiac can discern exactly how the speaker intends it by the subtleties of intonation."

Re: Motor Redo!!??

Okay, so now that we know what Ayuh stands for, or have an idea of what it means. I have some more news on what I found tonight. I went out there and looked at the exhaust manifold again. I noticed a difference in the bolt pattern. The old riser that came from the 2.5L the bolts measured 3-1/4" long by 2-7/8" wide and the new riser measures 3-1/4" by 3-1/2". So I went to some parts diagrams and noticed that in 1982 there were actually two different part numbers for both the 120 and the 140 motors, indicating to me that there WERE actually two different manifolds that went straight back from the manifold, indicating to me that I should be able to find a riser with the correct size of a bolt pattern. Any ideas?
