Motor Swaps

this is probably a dumb ? but im going to ask anyways. . . if i have a good volvo motor and outdrive and get a boat with a blown mercrusier i/o can i just swap in mine for that one or am i going to run into problems hooking up well everything?

Ask that in the proper forum, but I think thats a great way to go, you can get really good boats with blown engines for nothing.

a bit of each really,
those I/O guys know the engines like your hand,

but when you find the engine mounts are rotten this is the best forum.
