I am swapping over from a 1987 110hp Evinrude to a 2010 200hp Merc opti pro xs. I think I have most of the conversion parts covered but was told they make a wiring harness pigtail that will convert my existing wiring from the Evinrude, to the ignition and to the tilt trim work with the new motor. Does anyone know if this is actually true? If so, know what the part number might be. Both the plug on the end of the ignition wires and the plug at the new motor are both female. The old Evinrude plug is an 8 pin and the plug on the mercury is 13 pin. There is a separate plug from control box for tilt trim that is a male 5 pin. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
