Can anyone tell me what a 79' 175 Merc. weights and is there a sight where one can get older engine specs? Thanks.

Either 349 or 356 lbs depending on the model. What kind of specs are you looking for?

Shopping for a used OB. No one ever seems to list weights. It would be nice to find a quick ref. sight.

Nada.com will give you the weight. Motors are under boats.

i have found freightcenter.com to be very competitive on shipping prices. call them Ext 1028 Allie, is great to work with. i figure 50# for pallet.
