motor wont start

i have an inline 6 mercury outboard 115 hp. have plenty of spark and compression motor still wont start any suggestions?

couple suggestions:
1. post in the mercury repair forum (as opposed to the one titled "not engine topics")
2. more details. year, model #, recent maintenance, other symptoms, what happened last time it did start, how long since it last ran, how you determined "plenty of spark", how old is the fuel, whether the fuel line is holding pressure, that sort of thing.
