Motor year?

I am going over to look at this motor later today.......can any one guess its age, is that an origanal mercury color?

Yes, that the original color I can't tell the model for sure but it's a 58 or if it has an A after the model it's a 59

Thank you laddie.....I am going to trade for a 63 elgin 7.5....this guy thinks the merc is a 12 hp....
