Re: Motorcycle Shipping
If they do as well as mine and a few friends, you won't be disappointed.
What kind of bike is it btw?
Well the $450 crate was too small on the ForwardAir.... and the next up was $629, and a hassle to do the drop and P/U at terminals..
Went with and ended up doing JC transports (google it)..Zone one, to Zone 4...$725, $7000 ins, no deduct, one time load on a pallet.. door to door on a 18 wheeler, they do the work (one pallet..soft tie, cover..stays on the pallet, but will be moved from the truck at times..still same pallet)..checked them all...seems the best deal for zero work..
Anyway, 95 Honda CBR1000f (worked over..VH 4 to 1.. Can, jetted, figure back up to 150hp crank with the work.., 135 RW...(stock 135 crank)) ..prime..friend of a friend with health problems in WV..me in WA state. ..just today moved the Harley Bagger off to one side, Harley shovelhead off to the other, HD dragbike in the bump position..pup will go in the middle..close the door, leave them alone for the old girls to tell the young'un the rules..going on 48 years real soon saddle time myself..(started at 10, now 57..soon 8..)
Maybe I'll grow up someday..
