Motorguide 36V Pigtail

I have a 36V Motorguide Great White (I believe 100 lb thrust) that I bought 2nd hand. The original owner cut the pigtail off and I can't tell if the original pigtail was 10 awg or 8 awg.

I intend to put a new pigtail to a plug in my boat; and want to be sure to use the proper wire size. My wire from the battery bank to the plug is 6 awg.

Does anyone know the OEM pigtail wire size? I don't want to put 10 awg back if it really should be 8.

Since no replies on this thread. I'm going with the larger 8 awg wire for my pigtail. After getting the wire, it does look like the original was probably 10 awg.
