I have a ?03 Motorguide Tour Series 82 lb. non digital that is giving me problems. It only runs wide open or it doesn?t. As long as the variable speed knob is turned all the way up it runs but anything less than that it doesn?t do anything. (in the water) I had it out of the water the other day testing it and it will start spinning real slow once you turn the variable knob up about ? of the way to high and about every millimeter you turn the knob up it will get faster up until it reaches about half motor speed then it jumps to wide open. Does this sound like it all in the variable speed? A couple weeks before it got to this point I was out fishing and the trolling motor locked on wide open (without the pedal being pushed) The only way I could get it back to normal was to leave it unplugged for at least 30 seconds. I don?t know if this was a factor to why it is like it is now. Any help is appreciated! Matt
