I have a Motor Guide Great White trolling motor and there is a gap in the shaft where it seperates from the main shaft for steering. Is there a way for me to tighten it up? I don't want to mess with it and break it....Thanks in advance for any advice....Warren<br />

Warren...losen the set screws up on the chrome collar and slid it back up. May as well give the bearing in there a little grease will your at it. Slid the collar back up and tighten the set screws.

Re: MotorGuide Trolling motor Gap?

I tried to get the set screws out and one of them is round. I can use an easy out to remove it. Any suggestions where to get more set screws? I don't want to take it apart if I can't get it back together.....Warren
