The bolts for the front mounts on both my 3.7 and the donor non-balance shaft squish mount 4.3L are 1/2". They won't fit the hole on the newer style solid mounts that I put on the new(er) 4.3L. It looks like the holes are 7/16". I can't find 7/16" lag bolts anywhere. Trying to get something locally.
1. What's the correct bolt I need? 3/8 x 4"?
2. Appears that the old bolts are SS. Again, hard to find locally. What about the yellow coated exterior lag bolts used for construction? Would those work? Hot dipped galvanized? Hold out until I find SS?
