Hey fellas,

Been a while since I've last posted. Spring has finally sprung! And I'm getting the rig ready to finally get out on the water.

Anyways, I have an old '73 15ft. Larson open bow with a '76 E-Rude 85...runs good and is strong. I also have a transom mount electric trolling motor that was laying around from a canoe.

I'd like to be able to use the electric motor while fishing, but there isn't any room on the transom to mount it....that big O'l E-Rude 85 takes up most of the space!

Is there some type of bracket/mount you could recommend. Any links? Thanks in advance

These are the choices here on iboats that I found: http://www.iboats.com/Marine_Store/... mount--submit.Search--submit.x.0--submit.y.0

I have the universal one part #52650 on my tri-hull. It works for me and is removable. Just make sure the trolling motor shaft is long enough to get down to the water.

Hey thanks. That's a little more in my price range. You wouldn't happen to have a picture of how it's mounted on your boat do you? For the life of me I can't picture it in my head how it'd be used or where I'd mount it. My Larson 1550 Shark is a tri-hull as well.

I'll see if I can find a pic or take one of it and post it. It has a flat plate that screws/bolts to the boat, then a slider plate that locks in with the arm and mount attached to it.

Hey, that'd be great. Do you have it mounted at the bow or somewhere at the stern? Thanks.

These pics are from before I added the mount. There is about a 4" square plate that I mounted between the bow light and port rail. You can kind of see the area I'm talking about in these pics. If I get home early enough I'll try to grab a pic of the actual plate & mount.

That's a nice lookin' rig! Thanks. I appreciate your help! How long is the shaft on your trolling motor?

The Motorguide T34 I have has a 30" shaft I think. I hope I'll be able to use it.
