I was invited to go and ride my ATV to the summit and decided I could not pass up that chance. The cool air felt great :D They open up the roads to ATV's and I was given a ticket to go. It is great to be back!

It is said that this is the spot of the worst weather in the world..... I enjoyed it.

See the chain? The building is chained to the ground!

It also has a Cog Railway

Now that is neat. What a ride and view. Are your quads street legal? Looks like a serious license plate. Thanks for sharing.

They are both mine.... I ride the green one and the red one is "my wife's" which is ridden by my friends or my son.

They are not street legal. VT has registration rules for ATV's for the back plate and there is another plate on the front...... you have to belong to a club to ride anywhere outside of your own property......

Those are some strict rules. Out here folks drive them everywhere and just about anywhere. No registration needed for them either.

I have had my street bike up there REAL hard on the brakes on the trip down

It is really harder than pikes peak because of the road quality

I drove up there a year ago in a rental. Goin up was wierd because the road gets smaller all the way up till it's just a glorified trail. Comin down was a piece of cake. The view is fantastic.
New Hampshire/Vermont is some of the most beautifull geography I have ever seen.
Saw a huge road killed moose and wondered what the heck do those folks drive, tanks??
Nice pics!
