Mounted GPS for my Pontoon

My Pontoon is slipped at Percy Priest Lake in TN, it will spend its boating life there and I have no plans to go out on the "salt" in it ever (just to let you know my location).

I am looking for a mounted GPS unit. I have a depth and fish finder, but I want a GPS unit to navigate and mark items of interest (submerged objects, fishing locations, party locations, etc). I would like to mount it to my dash since I have the space. I already have a handheld. A large color screen would be nice.

I am looking for suggestions on units...

Thanks!

Re: Mounted GPS for my Pontoon

I would recommend the Garmin 430 or 530. The 430 has a 4" screen and the 530 has a 5" screen. Both has built in maps of inland lakes and rivers. I have the 430s on my toon and it works great on my lake.
