mounting seat pedestals

[HowCOLOR="#0000CD"][/COLOR What would I use for mounting my seat pedestals to my deck? I can't access the underside of my deck as that's where my gas tank is. The pedestals are flat bottom with 4 mounting holes. Would I use lag screws?

Uhmmm are you saying the gas tank is under where the seats are going to be mounted? If so then for sure do not use lag screws!!!! If you do not have access AND the gas tank is NOT under the area then you can use these...

Or you could epoxy some raised platforms to the deck with t-nuts installed and bolt the seats to them.
