Muffler problem 115 hp OMC Turbojet

I suspect the water side of my muffler is clogged. Does anyone know if these mufflers can be reconditioned?? New mufflers are $600.00

if you have been running it in shallow water.yes the muffler and adaptor plate is probaly pluged you can remove the engine then adaptor plate and muffler and flush them out. be sure to pay attention to the 3inch exaust hose on the port side they colaspe on the inside and cause the same symthom.

I doubt that your muffler is clogged. See if you can dissconnect the hose in and out and blow through it. I can tell you that the base gasket can fail allowing the two chamgers to mix.
