Multi pitch quick silver prop, NEED HELP!!

I have a scarab 1, 1985 with a mcm 260 and alpha 1. I bought it with this prop and need some help on getting on plane better,what do I need to do to adjust the pitch. There are 3 screws that can be loosened and adjust the tension on the spring that is inside the prop to keep it at a certian pitch depending at what rpm you want it to change. Any one used one of these before, need some input on how to get better preformance out of my boat with this prop.
