Seems like every other post lately has been about boat paint, i suppose as it gets warmer we're all looking to paint.
Unfortunately for me i hadn't seen any posts regarding the preparation needed to paint a boat deck.....
I just finished glassing in my new deck, i used polyester resin to do it.
So now i'm ready to paint it, and get the motor hooked back up.
I plan on using paint mixed with an anti slip additive, and putting two or three thick coats down.
Questions are....
i know there are a lot of marine paints out there do i need to worry about them being compatible with certain resins, or should they all act the same??
and do i need to do any surface prep to the deck or can i just paint over the glass???
thanks in advance
