Re: Must see YouTube!

Well so much for a family friendly board. I wasn't a cook there tough guy, as stated previously, you want to see my DD-214 we can talk, but obviously in YOUR eyes the only togh vets are the Nam vets and we newer generation don't count. I am a life member of the VFW but I no longer go, because bitter Nam vets like you can't handle the fact we aren't treated with disdain like you guys were (which is a national disgrace) and some of them take that bitterness out on guys like me. Sorry, won't get into a pi$$ing contest about who's war was togher.

Suffic to say, thanks for your service and your sacrifice. Nuff said.

I work on new program and product development and have had a direct hand in the acquisition, development, fielding and support of numerous rapid initiative fielding projects to get items into the war fighters hands in a streamlined approach that avoids the normal lengthy acqisition channels.

Do y'all always talk like that in the military? Good thing I'm not in the military because I had to said huh? about 5 times reading that paragraph. It's about as bad as legal languages :D

IMO......Although I'm younger then you guys and have not been to war but from the outside looking in stand point. I think VN war was tougher for the soldiers because they didn't have all the advanced technologies like they do now. What they have to work with were way more primitive compares to now(gulf war to present). Plus, they know nothing about VN, they were in the jungle and had no idea what the fudge they were doing. They almost never knew where the enemy were that's why they had to do "blanket bombing". Nowaday, they can sit in an air conditioned, un-mosquitos infested room in Wash. DC and see everyone walking in and out of their house. NO OFFENSE to those whose were there but if they have the technologies of today, they probably win. Oh man, I needs to put on some armor cause I'm gonna git it..:)

To answer your question fishie... NO. MOST military people know how to talk to one another. They may not always agree but it doesn't always turn in to this kind of pissing contest.

Scaaty, your an embarassment. Thats all I have to say. The way you portray things and even speak on here is just rediculous.

I?ll be "proud" too second that statement.

Re: Must see YouTube!

My best pal's son has been out now for a year now.
He was a squad leader with the Marine expeditionary force that was kickin' down doors in Falusia.

He's not adjusting to civilian life very well either.
