I have found that the boat that my neighbor gave me as a gift is a 12' 1974 Resorter. It does not leak, yet. My neighbor George also gave me a 1973 2-HP Evinrude that runs and runs well. I put a new sparkplug, new pull-rope, new impeller and seal under the impeller and got a new vent screw for the gas cap which was nothing but a S/S bolt with knurled threads on top with a rubber grommet underneath.

Then with the new motor I got for it last Tuesday, a 2010 Mercury 6-HP for $900. It had never been run and it runs awesome, the boat just flies with just me in it;
I have taken all the seats out to put new wood underneath them as the wood underneath has rotted and the aluminum seats sag/starting to sag as a result. New wood and they'll be like new again;
Both the 2-HP and the 6-HP;
