i need to know whats what in the engine bay other then the engine in my i have to pumps and one blower the bateris and a red switch in the front i have the stering weel and lots of fade out butons witch i don't know what are they for cus they dont say enything

Ayuh,... OK,... 2 Pumps,..?? as in 2 Bilge Pumps,..??
1 Blower,... That's the Bilge Blower,...
Batteries,... Info on wiring 'em up is in the Electrical forum... Ditto the Battery Selector Switch(the Big Red thing)....
The Steering Wheel is for Steering the boat....
The Switches,..?? You'll have to chase the wiring to See where they go,+ What they're for....
No Pictures are going to tell you those things,... A Multimeter,+ a Test Light will though...

I'll try to see if I can take a few pics of my engine compartment for ya. It's gonna be shrinkwrapped this week, but I'll try to take a few before it is done.

Bond-O - Your being a little tough on him. I can understand him wanting to find out as much info about his boat as possible. I was lucky and my boat was taken care of very well by its last owner.

Here is a pic of my boat and the dash area as it was stock. You should be able to see the switches and their labels. My dash is apart right now becasue I am redoing it and flushmounting my gps and vhf radio.

if you try to search for anything regarding this type of boat there is not much not even good pictures how you think i find about this site because i search about the boat and the only post about this is in here if you search now you will come across my threads if you search for the engine yes you will get 200 pages of engine pictures but not a good one on this type of boats

mpdcam your panel looks different here are some pics of my i hope this help some one ells in the future note this pictures are old when i was piking up the boat i will have the updated pictures later on

well this are some updates i was able to work on it today this is what i did

remove the bench

remove the intake

now i have acces to work on the engine and to start designing my new bench i will try to make somthing difrent

Ayuh,... You might as well yank that motor,...
It needs a trip to a Machine Shop at Best, or Replacement at worse...
Pull the drive 1st...

well i took the 1 of the heads out and found my self with this now i don't know if i should get a hall new engine o just rebuilt this one

what you guys think o recommend rebuilt o just get a hall new one

hello all i am looking to change my cuddy cabin i will like to see whats out there because i have search the web for good pictures and ideas on what can i do to my cuddy cabin a total make over so please show me anything you have done different to yours

BTW

i have a century 4500 clx cuddy cabin witch i am doing a overhaul to the hall boat

Why did you start an entirely new thread? Just my opinion but unless that boat is destined to become a kids playhouse I would worry more about basic structure and the engine/outdrive. With all of the rust visible inside your engine....... makes me wonder if it had previously sunk.

You need to set your priorities on your repair.

i start it a defrent thread because i din't see one about cuddy cabin i did search before i start it

the boat was not sunk the girl who had the boat didn't know anything about it and she left it in the open elements including the engine here it is how it was when i got it

also i found termites in the cuddy that's why i decide to take everything out and just make it look different its not going to be a kids playhouse but more like my play house lol

about the engine i am looking for the replacement in the mean time i am fixing the other parts

thanks bob vt and i know is going to be big but i hope when i finish it will be nice

here are some updates for today's work and what i found i kill

i took some time and tuck the other head off and found no problem on the pistons chamber i took the heads to the machine shop to get a complete rebuilt

here is the pic

i will try to get some more work done tomorow will show more pictures

just in case any one got any ideas on what can i do to the cuddy i was thinking on adding a small bar one tv i will move the radio to the front and add a small seround sound system to it what you guys think

well today was a good day i got the heads and the intake done and i was able to get a mecanic who is going to take the long block out for 50$ i think that is a good price
