Here are the new bits installed. Windshield supports are now supporting the windshield!!!




Question... the gunnel skirts,the glove box/cover, cover over the steering wheel are plastic that has deteriorated. Do you think that they could be sanded and painted?

Don't see why they couldn't be painted ... I think the Krylon plastic paint would work pretty well ...If they have the color you want ..

Its hard to tell the condition Cor from the pics. I am wondering if you lightly sanded and put some of system three's clear coat on them first, if it would smooth out the finish and stabilize them? IDK, just a thought. Is it really rough and flakey? If so might not hurt to call them and ask. You can top coat it after a light sanding.

Figured I would try painting one of the plastic trim pieces. Just rattle can, but pretty happy with it. Ill shoot them for real next time around.

Thanks, it was Krylon Fusion... says its for plastics. Will probably OK. I think Ill just leave it and see how it holds up.
