I thank everyone on the restoration and building forum that helped and gave me encouragement on the rebuild of my Capri. My 2009 season was awesome

Took a trip from Benton Harbor, MI to Chicago. My camera got screwed up and conditions on Lake Michigan SUCKED on the way back (small craft advisory). My little bro was able to save only a couple pix

Had a nice day outing on Torch Lake, MI with my little bro, his chick, and my best buddy. My bro brought his Jet Ski ('90 Kawasaki 600 TS). We got the Capri going at a nice plowing speed and took turns hitting the wake. After a while I got tired of watching their feeble attempts so I let them take the helm of the Capri (weird seeing my boat on the water instead of me being on it looking out lol) and showed them how to LAUNCH it off the wake

as you can see, I got my sense back and dropped anchor

morning in Marquette

end of season . I usually keep the Capri in a carport at our cottage near Mancelona, MI but took it home for the winter

Great pictures and it seems like you had a great summer of boating in some beautiful country.

I can't remember the river exactly but its on Lake Superior I know, on the southern shore, along Pictured Rocks

Great photos and awesoem idea making a "season of images" for us to see. I'd like to see more of these.. almost like getting a tour of other peoples' stomping grounds. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for posting the photos F14 crazy...it will keep me motivated to get my rig ready for next spring/summer so I can take similar excursions

I have to agree that tow vehicle is a real gem

QC...I believe that is a shot of the Spray Falls near Chapel Beach.

I took a land-based trip to Tahquamenon Falls in august and hiked from the upper to lower falls, I would recommend it as well Next time the boat will be along for the trip of course.
