Found this Boat for free on Craigslist in my Home Town of Haverhill, MA. Came with a clear Mass. Title but no trailer. After looking for a trailer to buy or use for a few days I decided to build one out of an old 5th wheel camper frame I've had for a few years.

Went through the out drive today and everything looks good and clean. The motor turns freely so tomorrow I'll attempt to start it after a few preventive measures are taken.

Unfortunately the PO cut all the wiring out of the boat with hopes of rewiring it It never happened so the boat sat for 1 1/2 years.

Luckily I have a few good wiring harnesses I kept from other boats along with two new sets of gages and sensing units I purchase for another boat a few years ago, along with many new GM marine parts I.E. Carb, Alt, starter, fuel pump.

260HP smb GM w/Volvo Penta 280 OD

The boat came with two new bilge pumps installed and wired along with a new 12v fresh water pump, solar charging system installed, The trim tab pump was replace in 08 along with new toilet and every thing that goes along with it.

This is my first Bayliner but not my first boat by any means. Last year I sold my 22' Grady White Overnight and down sized to 17' MFG & a 15' Boston Whaler Rage 15. I said no more big boats but once you have 4 adults and two children on a 17'er then the big boat fever starts again.

I'll post more pics as well as my progress.
