Will a Part # 398-5407A4 work on my 1989 50hp Force? (Stator)

You may need a freight train to pull it off.<br /><br />If stator is not producing enough juice, it will not have enough to fire strong on both plugs. May only be running on one.<br /><br />Can't help with that part number. It has changed several times over the years. sorry.

Ok thanks for the info, I have another three jaw larger puller coming from a friend, I have been soaking it with wd40 should be interesting. Yea the part numbers are hard to disifer if anyone else has any insite please let me know. I will keep you informed.

SOLVED I sold the motor and bought a Johnson! Thank you all for your expert help. See you in the Johnson forum!

Roscoe, do you ever visit the Johnson Forum, are you up on Johnson outboards? I miss your advice LOL I have yet to find anybody who is able to trouble shoot like you! I moss you guys but I sure do not miss that Force LOL Happy and safe Boating to all and thanks for the advice over the past few months!!
