You may be able to find an upholstry shop in your area that could make the seats for you. You may have to make (or have made) the bases for the seats. I'm not sure though. Someone may know a company that can make the whole thing for you.

That is a really sweet looking boat you have there. There are many threads on here describing how many guys have fixed up old boats like yours. You are in the right place for good advice. Good luck and enjoy your project.

Are you sure it's a Falcon? We have another member with a "Falcon" and his was an aluminum hull. Anyway, cool boat you've got there. Make sure the deck and transom are solid before you put too much cosmetic work into it. I'd probably just stick with seats similar to what you've got there but mounted on real low pedestals.

I have the 1960 crestliner falcon aluminum hull. Shouldnt be hard to get some pictures of how the original correct seats look for the glasser. That 40 evinrude could be a pain if the wiring is original. It could cost some real money just getting it to crank long enough to check out. I think they had the electric shifter in the foot which can cost to repair. The boat is a good project . Bringing that engine back will not be for a novice unless he has plenty of time to learn.

If you have not started the motor or checked compression, why go further. .02

I will be checking the compression this weekend but my plan is to sand the boat down, prep it for painting replacing seats ,I want to get the boat itself in nice shape then buy a good running motor with controls so i dont have to mess with it.

Invest in a trailer jack. It is really better to store a boat bow up, where the rain water will drain out.

Nice boat

I had a '57 like that. The seats were in fairly good shape but were stuffed with hay. A local upholstery shop gladly redid the seats with new material and nice modern marine foam. The comfort factor alone made it worth the few hundred to do the whole boat.
